To the dreamer... everything is possible

Hello again lovely friends,
hope you are well!

Here is a vintage altered tag that I have made.

I love using vintage images in my projects,
and this little chap fitted perfectly for this!

I gave him some beautiful butterfly wings to match the
background of the tag and I added
the words "to the dreamer everything is possible"

See you on the next post,

Marie Antoinette altered tag

Hello lovely friends,
hope you are well!

Today, I want to share with you this dreamy shabby chic
Marie Antionette altered art tag that I have made.

I used a piece of white card stock that I
cut to tag size and covered it with beautiful papers from
First Edition 'The promise' collection.

Next, I added some vintage lace and adhered this delightful
Marie Antionette paper doll image.
Then, I added a beautiful pink mulberry rose, which has
been adhered on top of some die cut leaves and baby pink pearl stamens.

Next, I printed out the words "Every day is a fashion show and the
world is the runway" and adhered them on to the tag.

I have also adhered some fussy cut butterflies, which have
been embellished with Cotton Candy stickles.

To finish, I made a hole in the top of the tag
and threaded some vintage lace
and sparkly white fibres through it. I also
added this lovely baby pink rose cabochon and pearl trim.

Thanks once again for stopping by,
see you on the next post.

Altered gift bag

Hello lovely friends,
hope you are well!

Here is my design team inspiration piece for challenge two
over at

The theme this month is anything goes and is sponsored by

I wanted to create something entirely different this time round!

So I decided to alter this kraft paper gift bag.
I started this project by layering this beautiful paper
from my own craft stash.
I also adhered this fabulous Magnolia Doohickey
Tildas' lace border die cut at the top of the bag.
Next I used this wonderful Dino birthday digi stamp
image from Bugaboo.

He's such a cutie!
I coloured the digi image using water colour pencils,
then adhered that on to a scalloped stitched square
die cut made with Kraft card stock to
match the base of the gift bag.

Next, I printed out this wonderful birthday recipe for friendship.

I also added some vintage lace and a bow, I created this flower collage
using beautiful mulberry roses in blue and cream tones.
Next, I created some paper flags by printing out these birthday sentiments,
I have distressed all the elements with Tim Holtz vintage photo distress ink.

Finally, I added two sweet little wooden butterfly embellishments to the gift bag to give it
a lovely finishing touch.

Thanks for stopping by,
'hope you like my birthday gift bag as much as I enjoyed making it?!

Dancing fairy altered bookmark

Hi lovely friends,
I'm back again to share an altered
bookmark that I created.

I have to confess that I am a bit
of a bookworm! I love to read.
One of my favourite quotes by the
legendary Michael Jackson is;

“I love to read. I wish I could advise
more people to read.
There's a whole new world in books.
If you can't afford to travel,
you travel mentally through reading"

I needed a new bookmark, so what better
way to combine my love of fairies too!

I used the quote "Beauty begins the
moment you decide to be yourself"
as I thought it fitted the image
of this wonderful dancing fairy perfectly.
Also, it acts as a little reminder to myself
for when I'm feeling not so good.

I can't wait to use it!

Thanks once again for stopping by,
